Event - Building Effective Leadership Teams

Delegates will learn the ingredients of building leadership teams that work
Purpose
This workshop will show the most effective way to build leadership teams. It will explain the process that people go through and how to help people “learn” their way to being an effective member of the team.
Background
The myth of the effectiveness of heroic leadership is gradually being exploded. Jack Welch one of the most admired CEOs in corporate history acknowledged the importance of a team that had “a healthy sense of collegiality, mutual trust and respect for performance”.
The workshop will give delegates insights from Conduco’s unique ‘Team Development Cycle’ and how to manage the development of a team through the cycle.
It is clear that highly performing organisations are led by top teams that work together with shared aims and common goals. This has been obvious in sport for many years. Conduco’s Barry Cook, an FA coach says: “When you look at successful teams across a range of sports, football, rugby, cricket, rowing, there are common traits. Firstly, there is open discussion with high levels of disclosure and feedback. Secondly, there is a strong sense of shared ambition. Thirdly, there is a supportive culture within the team so that the team members play for each other.”
This workshop will show delegates how to build this kind of culture in a leadership team.
